PokeMoshPit and Americans

I'm subscribed to a channel on YouTube called PokeMoshPit. Sometimes I wonder why I'm even subscribed to it anymore.

Most of the "directors" as they like to call themselves are illiterate Americans or don't have English as their first language. I know many of them narrate Pokemon battles to improve their English but the bad habits they pick up are ridiculous. I won't mention names but you can clearly see it in some of them. I'm fine with some of the "directors" but majority of them are terrible.

Then you have the viewers. Some of them are even worse. The thing with the directors is that they like to hack their Pokemon to hell using Pokesav (or other save editors) while staying in the boundary of what they consider is legal.

Occasionally, I see them using illegal hacks so I comment politely so they'd be able to fix them but then I get bashed by all the 10 year olds or older people who act like them. I can never tell. There's an odd trend though. They're all American. It might be this way because most viewers originate from the US which is understandable but I sometimes wonder what the education system in the US is like.

@AeonRider You have no idea as to what you are talking about, because with Sav'ing it doesn't matter about anything other than illegal IV's, EV's and movesets, and thus, no one cares about your little picky statement.

This is the kind of response I expect from a 10 year old. There's no point in replying because everyone supports the bashing of an individual, in this case me, on this channel. Do Americans know what conjunctions are and how to use them?

Here's another comment in response to my response for the same video:
@AeonRider if you're gonna be that picky, EVERY SINGLE ONE of Pokemon wifi-ers' Pokémon are illegal, seeing as they Pokésav 'em (where you can choose the ball). Troll -0, me - 1!
I'm a troll am I?

It always ends the same way. I post a comment. I get trolled by being called a troll. I reply with reason. They don't respond. Reasoning wins. I win.

Typing up this blog entry somehow makes me feel this is analogous to the religious and non-believers but I won't go into that.

"This is the kind of response I expect from a 10 year old."

10 year olds I know don't type that well. :| The non-intelligent ones anyways.

Also thank you for assuming all Americans are stupid because some young males like to be immature on the internet.

No problem. If there's one thing I've learnt from the internet it's exactly that. Sometimes I wonder what the education system over there is like.

I read every comment from your first post, and I don't understand. Sure it's alright to use "legit" hacks, so there's nothing bad about it, but I don't hack my Pokemon at all, and yeah. I don't know what to say.

Also, lol at the guy who thinks "safe" and "save" are the same thing. xD

Can I just cut in before this gets out of hand...
Pokesav is hacking. But, the idea is not to use the program to get wonder guard spiritombs with 999 in every stat, but, to get pokemon with the maximum stats they can without spending 600 hours or so in game. Look at it this way, to get an umbreon with 394 special defense and 394 HP that knows wish, you would have to breed an eevee with a pokemon that knew wish, then hatch eggs until you got one with the correct nature and the correct IV's. You have about a 1 in 585,437 chance of this coming out right. After that, you have to EV train it, which will take at least a few days. If you miscalculate one thing, you have to start over again. With pokesav, you can create the same umbreon without all of the tedious hatching.

I'm confused. Are you arguing with them or against them?

My argument was that even though they're against giving stats of 999 etc., they still don't take the effort to make the Pokemon seem 100% legal which is almost the same as doing the aforementioned action. When I commented that the Pokemon should not be in a Cherish Ball, I had everyone yelling at me.

I guess you could say I'm arguing for pokesav. People are yelling at you because you're taking away the free will of them making your pokemon; it's like protesting that pokemon shouldn't be nicknamed. Whether savvers want to make them look legit or not is up to them, but I personally make mine look as legit as I can. Also, thanks to black and white, pokemon have to look more legit than ever if they stand a chance of being allowed on wifi.

Americans are not stupid. Most Americans on the internet, however, are.

And quite a few Americans in the backwoods of the Southern states are. It's mostly because our education is flawed, and teaches only for standardized state tests, not actual real life.

Also remember, that those people were simply being *******s. I seriously hate it when people judge Americans because of these things. The rest of the world acts just like us in some ways (in fact, all stupid people are really the same), but we overpublicize, and so the other countries use the superpower as their scapegoat.

It's like picking on a stupid kid who's big and strong. He gets confused, and loses his confidence, even though he could pulverize whoever was taunting him in the first place.

Looking at the debt we're going through, and the massive surge of youth unpatriotism, America is definitely going down the shitter, and the world may be left without a superpower, or even simply a country that cares about the affairs of other countries like ours does.

Noob out.

EDIT: I got waaay too political about this crap.

Honestly Eon, who else besides you honestly gives a fig about them being 100% legit?

I will agree, the fact that you're being polite in pointing it out to them is a good thing, perhaps you should switch to Private Messaging them on Youtube instead of commenting...because lets face it, the comments section of any video on youtube is riddled with spam and trolls...and it takes an incredible amount of patience and time to riffle through the crap to find the useful comments.

I know that most players don't care so long as it doesn't know impossible moves, have impossible stats/IVs/EVs or have PERFECT LEGAL IVs/EVs. I understand the use of Sav-ing "PERFECT LEGAL" pokemon, they make wifi battling suck less...and no "Legal" pokemon is "Perfect" in the conventional definition of the word, meaning they're not impossible to beat. So if I sav a Pokemon and I want it in a cherish ball, so be it! Maybe that's a good thing because little things like that help you recognize which ones you SAV'd so you don't end up trading them to some anti-hack-nut.

Ok here's another thing too: They aren't competitively battling. As a previous commenter so helpfully pointed out, Nintendo has made Black/White more vigilant to hacked Pokemon, and prevent them from going on Wifi battles, which I think is fair enough. I don't even mind if they prevent you from trading pokemon which aren't "Legal", meaning pokemon with impossible stats/moves would be rejected.

They're only battling to make videos...so to be honest, I really think you were nitpicking a bit much over the cherish ball thing, and I'm 22 and oftentimes TOO mature for this community. Don't even bother debating that last part, I won't even grace any rebuttal to that with a reply as it's automatically invalid anyway. No Exceptions.

You understand obviously, that people on youtube are no more mature than they are here on PC however, so I suppose this blog entry is more of a release of pressure.
