omg I am so bandwagoning right now you can't even believe but goddamnit I wanted to post this forget if Nica did it first and better! ;~~;
Yes, I'm no longer a moderator.
I decided to step down because I don't have the mod spark anymore. A good mod these days just doesn't babysit, they constantly try to improve their forum. I was no longer up to the task. I'm tired of modding, I'm tired of trying. Seeing that I'm supposed to be a good moderator didn't push me to try, it filled me with dread instead. It was getting to the point where PC felt more like a chore than fun.
The perks and just being staff for so damn long were more incentive to me to stay as a mod than actually watching and improving CCP. It's not the right reason to stay on staff. So instead of sticking around to be near useless for god-knows-how-much-longer, I've left staff for everyone's sakes. I only wish I could've come to this sooner. CCP has deserved better for awhile now.
I will still be visiting PC and posting in CCP; I haven't been on much the past few days because I've been waiting for my demotion.
It's been a few years since I've been a member. Last time I left staff, it was because I didn't have Internet access. I thought it was a Demotion Leave of Absence back then, not actual leaving, but circumstances changed I guess. (I'm still not sure exactly when they decided they didn't want me back, tbh.)
This time, it's far more refreshing to tell people that I'm leaving in no uncertain terms. I want to leave, of my own volition. There won't be months of bitterness. No whining to people about how it's so unfair they won't let me back. Just me, being me on PC.
It's been fun while it lasted. I'm glad that I not just had the opportunity to mod PC once, but twice. This time it'll be a permanent leave from staff.
I'm far more lazy than Nica so I ain't got nothing to say to staff besides keep being awesome. Especially my former mod partners. I'm honored to have worked with both of you. I know you'll keep doing well. Don't be strangers. d("d)
So, see you around in CCP! \o
