X or Y? Hmmm.. Recommendations?

My birthday is at the end of October and I still don't know which of the two I want. Which should I get??
I have to get my game imported anyway (boo region lock) so I have some time to think about it after release.. ;_; but I want as little spoilers as possible.. but I want to make sure that I choose the right one.
Black and White was easy because of Black City/ White Forest but from what I've seen so far from X and Y I can't decide. I don't want to get both because I wouldn't play through both of them so it'd be a waste..
Part of me maybe thinks Y because I can teach the legendary fly because I always keep something with Fly in my party but I dunno..
I just wanna know how many version exclusives there ultimately are.. and perhaps a Nidoking X and Y mega would be the tie-breaker because it's my favourite pokemon.
Guess I will have to wait until Saturday.

What do you guys think? Which one are you gonna get? I know a lot of you guys.. which one would you think I'd like better?

Well this was a hard decision for me too and I went back and forth for a while on it, but I decided to go with X mainly because I wanted to use Xerneas. That said, my favorite version exclusive, Skrelp, is actually in Y lmao. From what I know so far the version exclusives are:

Man I want Clawitzer and Houndoom and Mega Charizard X, but I'm missing out on Tyranitar, Heracross, Poison Dragon and Yveltal :(

Although X has the better Mega exclusives imo, I'm picking Y still cause I think Yveltal is better and it has better exclusives (excluding the Megas). Particularly Skrelp cause it's evolution looks amazing.

Flip a coin. They're both pretty ****ing awesome. ;D

Both games are alright, just do a comparison on version exclusives and pick the one that has more of the ones you like.

Are any more version exclusives gonna be announced?

I really love Heracross and I'd keep one in my party so I am leaning more towards Y even though initially I liked the X legendary better!

I'll add that if the charizard forms have you preferring one over the other, the mega stones for them can be also traded, so no worries about being locking into only one of the forms there.

For me Pokemon Y is a clear winner. I mean, it's got some ripper exclusives. Pokemon X's exclusives are so...bleh. D:

I just asked my friends and most of them were either picking X or both so I'll go for Y XD
