Update on life!

My last two blogs were pointless. Apologizing on good feedback was silly and so was hating on a hacker.

So here's an entry I've been wanting actually make. I thought I give you guys an update on my life since I haven't in a while.

First thing's first is on jobs.
While personally i haven't gotten a job yet, my dad got a new one. He was a front end worker at Lowe's, a home improvement store for those who don't know, and was tired of his bosses screwing him over and messing up his schedule constantly, not giving him enough hours, not giving a full time position after 6 years of working there, and not getting enough pay to manage three children on his own. So he was looking for a new job since last year and he finally has one! Starting July 8th, he's gonna be a merchandiser for Pepsi. Basically he's gonna be going to store and checking shelves to see if the Pepsi products are stacked /arranged right, how many are still in stock, and doing small things like putting up displays for promotions and such. It's a full time job and he'll be making $14 an hour, which is much more than what he made at Lowe's and is what he would of been making if he was still working as custodian at the police department., his last job.

I personally I'm still looking for a job. I really want one too and have been applying and searching everywhere for one. I mainly want one so I can get a 3DS before X and Y come out. I really want to buy at least one, preferably Y on release date, and I have only about 3 months to get one so I must hurry and find a job!

Other news: I recently signed up for my library's summer reading club. This is the first time in about 3 or 4 years since I've done it and I figured I've been reading alot lately so I can easily get it done. I need to read 10 books, magazines , ebooks. or audio books by July 27th. Once I do, I'm entered to win either a laptop or two baseball tickets. I'd kill for that laptop but the baseball tickets would be nice. I have tons of magazines lying around so it should be easy to get 10 by then. Plus I'm part of a book club right now on Facebook so there's that too. Right now we're reading The Alchemyst by Michael Scott, which I hear is good. And I've also decided to start reading the Pokemon manga, and by that I mean Pokemon Adventures aka Pokemon Special in Japan. I'm liking it so far. There's also another Pokemon manga I'm reading called Diamond and Pearl Adventure Adventure! and that's pretty funny. What's different between that and the Adventure series is the character wear the same outfits as Dawn, Lucas and Barry in the games, but they're hair styles and names are different. For example there's Mitsumi with her green hair


Overall I think my life's good right now,.That's all for now, thanks for reading.

Edit: I also just want to say I'm really excited to be co-hosting the Radio Nights with Antemortem for the Get-Together. It's surprising how we already have everything planned for it. I guess Dave is just a good organizer. :)

It's hard to get a job out there, actually. I, however, got an interview lined up for Taco Bell, and I'm praying I'd get it. But don't give up just yet, lots of jobs are going to be popping up every day and you gotta apply to the ones that pop up (this is actual pep talk from my dad who's a hiring manager). Be ambitious every day. It will pay off in the end.
