Well guys, it's certainly been awhile lol. Anyway, I'm finally back with a new blog entry, the ten most influential and memorable quotes from Pokemon games (at least in my humble and admittedly somewhat warped opinion lol) As for where I've been the past month, one word. Nashicon. Getting ready for the con, attending the con, and catching up on sleep lost during the con. Oh, and playing through Leaf Green for the 15 billionth time xD
Note: This list doesn't include Pokemon Vietnamese Crystal quotes, which, honestly could fill their own Top 10 List (which I'm currently working on.)
1. "This dress is comfy and easy to wear..." - NPC Lady in Humilau City (B2/W2)
Never mind shorts, this lady knows where it's at. Comfy AND fashionable.
2. "Dropped my balls!" - Juggler, Fuschia City (R/B)
No comment needed.
3. "I'll be showing you my power now. Try not to be blown away by a sense of wow! Let the music play!" - Miror B., Cave Poke Spot (XD Gale of Darkness)
Oh Miror B., your dance skills alone blow me away with a sense of wow!
4. "I am Evice, and I shall rule the world!" - Evice (Colosseum)
Gotta admire the guy's ambition. And his transformation abilities.
5. "Tiksi Branch? It's in Russian no-man's land!" - Scientist Taylor, Silph Co. (Pokemon Leaf Green)
If ever there were a tragic figure in the Pokemon franchise, this guy is it.
6. "They're impotant tools for keeping our criminal enterprise going." - Giovanni, Celadon City (Pokemon Leaf Green)
See, Giovanni knows what the true purpose of Pokemon are, so you can safely ignore those fools who blather on about friendship and crap.
7. "Well, let me inform you, this is no picnic. You will never defeat me with such a frivolous mind!" - Cipher Admin Ein, Realgam Tower (Colosseum)
Ein supports WesxRui WHILE sounding totally badass.
8. "They're virtually indestructible!" - Lance, Indigo Plateau (Pokemon Leaf Green)
How intimidating would this sound as a pre-battle boast, especially coming from someone with a badass cape? And how foolish would he seem after you bust out anything with Ice Beam and obliterate his dragons?
9. "My birds are exhausted. They can't FLY me back!" - Bird Keeper Roger, Route 20 (Pokemon Leaf Green)
Sucks to be you, dude, stranded on some random island out in the ocean.
10. "Now he just wants to fiddle with his Pokedex." - Agatha, Indigo Plateau (Pokemon Leaf Green)
The less said about what Oak does in his spare time, the better.

The anime gets very little right, but they nailed it here.

Another rare instance where the anime gets it right. Persian is love, Persian is life.
