Drawing Tablets?

Does anybody have any suggestions for a good drawing tablet to get? I've been quite interested in them for a while now, and since Christmas is coming it'd be a good time to get one.

Bamboo most definitely for beginners, if you were actually in the process of going through school to pursue a career in graphics then I might suggest the Intuos model, but for beginners I definitely recommend the Bamboo or Bamboo Fun.

Wow, I just looked up the bamboo and it looks amazazing..

Just one other question... what kind of bamboo do you get? I'm guessing the Bamboo Fun: Pen and Touch is the one to get...

Intuous 4s are the best, but they're expensive. I'd go with a 4X6 bamboo for about $100 if you can afford that. They're the best bet for your money.

The small Bamboo Funs are the way to go. They're cheaper than it's counterparts, they're more portable, and they get the job done.

I used a Bamboo Fun for about a year until I got an Intuos 3. Looking in Best Buy today, I see Bamboo Touches now. Don't know how good those would work in terms of drawing though. XD
