First point is in no way related to my play-through, but I found out my brother had ALREADY tried to go all Action Replay on his copy of Black. This is why I can't trade or battle with him. Oh, and he's playing through the game with only two Pokemon. Says he's gonna work on his actual team when he gets to Shopping Mall Nine and buys the HP Up and stuff... good luck leveling those guys up so late in the game, buddy...

Anyway, my progress:

-Spent a HELL of a lot of time on Route 4 and the Desert Castle, catching Sandile and reviving Archen and trying to assimilate them into my main team level-wise.

-Finally reached Nimbasa City, took in the sights and roughed up a few sports players.

-Awkward Ferris Wheel ride with N is awkward.

-I headed for the Gym and beat Elesa with my party around Lv36.

-Caught Solosis, who will be the sixth and final member of my crew.

-OMG IT'S CIPHER ADMIN DAKIM! WHEN DID HE CHANGE HIS NAME TO ALDER, GIVE UP HIS LIFE OF CRIME AND BECOME UNOVA'S CHAMPION?!?!?!?! Or is Alder just Dakim's twin brother who didn't embark on a life of crime?

-More Team Plasma fun in Cold Storage. Riddle me this, Gethsis: If I abduct your daughter and say I'm "liberating" her, will you still press charges against me? Honestly, I don't understand Team Plasma's logic. Or why they only use one or two Pokemon to face me.

-Beat Clay rather handily with Pokemon at Lv38.

-My team: (all Lv38)
Samurott
Liepard
Krokorok
Archeops
Zebstrika
Duosion

Yeah, it's safe to say your brother will have a hard time leveling his Pokemon. I haven't played too much of my Black (my DS having problems at the moment), but I heard you have to level your Pokemon a bit this time to get through the game. Then again, grinding isn't that much of a problem for me because I always grind a few levels before going against gym leaders and such, haha.

Hah, I'm a compulsive level grinder as well... hence my Pokemon being 5-7 levels higher than the competition.

And I can't wait for the Elite Four to lay the smackdown on my brother. He's always been cocky, calling the gym leaders and the like "pathetic" and bragging about the whole thing. I've always been 2-3 gyms behind him as far as progress goes, though I have a feeling I'll catch up once he starts having to raise his actual team and realizing there's no trainers left to battle to help him out :P
