So, this summer, I'm going to write my original fiction which I have been thinking about since I dreamt about it 5 years ago! The title will be a secret and I did many attempts before this and they all failed. I changed some characters, plot, and now, I'm finally showing the preview of my original fiction! The year is 3008. If you are reading this in let's say, 2013, a lot has changed between those two timeframes. For example, the worst disaster the world has ever seen happened somewhere in late 2500's where the Earth experienced a drastic mega-earthquake. We call it "The Great Continental Shift". Millions of people perished in about 6 minutes and before you know it, around 1/3 or the world's population was left alive. It took forever to rebuild the civilization. On the plus side, technology was so advanced now. The Internet was an old fad. Literally 6 people still knew what an Internet was! In today's standards, there is the UltraNet! A virtual universe inside every appliance!
In 2843, when the world was nearly risen from the Shift, the leading scientists made a new program that would change the whole universe altogether! They first called it EarthNet. Unfortunately, it had some bugs and was discontinued. However, in 2897, it was reworked again and it was reintroduced as UltraNet. People from all over the world flocked over the UltraNet like it was some kind of yummy food! Originally, it was for social interactions where you won't have to waste money just to see your loved ones. Now, many new features have been introduced! One of these features is UltraBattling! UltraBattling is a new sport wherein you battle amongst with other people around the world using "scientific magics" known as Elements. You can only wield one Element and ONLY one!
To even access the UltraNet and its features, one must have a Conalyzer, the ultimate gadget for calls, messages, video streaming, and even customization and it holds your data in the UltaVerse, the universe of the UltraNet. One must also have a Connector, a USB-like device that connects you and your Conalyzer to the UltraNet. Without it, you can't even enter your own homepage.
Well, this story starts off with this 13 year old guy and his friends in Coastline City, located in West Petruvia, a country located in the new continent of Asia. So without further ado, I wrap up this Preview and give your comments below!
