Lately I've been wondering about something important that is happening today, because for Windows 7 and 8.1 users, if anyone reserved the update for Windows 10, you'll get the update prompt soon. As I'm writing this entry, the download was just started at my end.
I've been checking what several people says about Windows 10 in progress, and some are giving good points because it won't surprise everyone just like in Windows 8 (even though 8.1 managed to fix some) due to being optimized for Desktop and Tablet users alike, and I'm able to run Metro apps with other software without any barriers. Not just that, the good old Start menu is making a comeback as well!
However, I also heard from some that it can nag about using Microsoft account to use some features like Calendar, which makes me a bit worried because personally, I'm using offline account on Windows even though still using their services at times. However, I still want to give it a try because updating from 8 to 8.1 was a smooth sailing despite of early errors on File Explorer when I shut down the laptop. That's interesting because I still remember when I used to not sure if I will upgrade to 8.1 back then, as described here.
So, as I'm beginning to take my step towards my laptop's future, I want to ask you, is your PC ready for the upgrade? And don't forget to make comments about your current experience in Windows 10 if you just upgrading for one.
