NaNoWriMo 2010 anyone?

It's almost that time of the year: National Novel Writing Month! :D For those of you who haven't heard of it, here's what the site has to say about it.

If you're doing NaNo, let me know! My profile name is... are you ready? sammi-san. Totally weren't guessing that one, were you? ;D

For this year, I think I've settled on writing backstory for a very awesome character. It'll fill in some gaps in the series it'll belong to. I'd explain but it'd get tl;dr and be confusing. D8

I kind of wish I was starting something new like my first two NaNos, but I want to write in this specific universe and there's nothing new to write in it unless I go to a different time or country altogether. :( So unless I change my mind last-minute and go with my backup plan which is nowhere near as awesome and set in a different universe, or unless I find something completely new in this one, I think I'll stick with it. It'll still be fun. :)


...slightly off topic, but I finally got my NaNo poster again! It is, quite frankly, awesome. I need to get a picture.

I'm, unfortunately, not. Between my job and the fact that all of my story ideas are started already, it wouldn't work out for me.

I always do NaNo! It's when I get most of my writing done for the year, it feels like. Especially these days. The computer's distracting, to say the least.

That's a shame. :( Maybe next year, then.
