First up, this would be the criteria for the each individual song. They would be rated by our panel of 3 regulars, one special guest, and myself, and each stat would be graded on a scale of 10, and a final one with the same scale.
Okay, here are our critics for today's entry! We have the smooth yet cunning White Mage, the grumpy ol' srinator, the wonderful revere, and our special guest, the great El Héroe Oscuro!
Synergy
Do the songs mash up perfectly? Do they give off this cool vibe, better than the orginal songs? This is the more technical side of the mashup.
Beat and Melody
Basically the instrumentals. Do they sound good, would it give eargasms to the listener?
Transitions
Does the song transition well to another song? The tempo and the beat are included here.
Overall Rating
Do you recommend anyone to listen to the song?

Synergy - 6/10
tbh I wasn't feeling this one too much. I felt like some of the songs didn't match the feeling of each other.
Beat and Melody - 7/10
Not bad. I liked the beat/melody most of the time, but there were a few parts that sounded off.
Transitions - 6/10
Pretty hit and miss for me. Some transitions sounded really good, and others didn't flow very well at all imo.
Overall Rating - 7/10
It's perfectly fine as a mashup, definitely not too bad, but not super amazing either.

It has an aura that helps it have a good continuum with the others, I will give it that much. As for the video I find it bizarre and generally what today's public demands.
Beat and Melody - 5/10
I will be honest, in comparison to the other two this one is kinda mediocre. It doesn't have that omph factor to it nor is it that funky lol.
Transitions - 8/10
You get a sense of beat and the they don't seem extremely different songs so the transition from this song to next song is pretty descent.
Overall Rating - 5/10
Not my cup of tea and even for pop, this doesn't really cut it.

The synergy is okay, some parts sounded off and completely unnecessary though. But the songs in 2014 were pretty bad so yeah.
Beat and Melody - 8/10
The beat and melody is pretty nice in my opinion. I especially liked the bit near to the ending, starting from 3:24.
Transitions - 7/10
The transitions were smooth, except for this abrupt change at 2:13.
Overall Rating - 7.5/10
Overall, this is a decent mashup. I would recommend this to everyone looking for a nice roundup of 2014's best hits and stuff.

I feel like this song actually made, and not just mashed up. I gave it an 8 because of All About That Bass :x
Beat and Melody - 8/10
It was consistent, that's what I like about this mashup. The parts with the horns just throw me off, sadly.
Transitions - 9/10
As I've said, they were consistent, I do not find any problem with it to be frank.
Overall Rating - 8/10
It sounds great. I guess the only thing that hinders me from giving it a 10 is All About That Bass, really, since I think that it is unnecessary.

Usually when it comes to mashups, it's very hit and miss when it comes to my personal taste. However, with this DJ Earworm song, the user did an excellent job melding so many different voices. From Adam Levine to Sam Smith, the DJ really found a coherent sound that melded together very nicely. Even with songs like "All About That Bass," the DJ was able to find the right groove and melody for that section by quickening the vocals of Megan Trainor to match the beat of the song, as well as the singer of Magic! by distorting his line to match the vibe of the song. The DJ also made an actual chorus for the song, which I find to be very rare for mashups of this calibur. The only part that I did not enjoy was the addition of Iggy Azaela with her "L.A. to Tokyo" line, as her pitch/tone did not match up with the rest of the singers. Nonetheless, if you enjoy smooth, party songs that you can sway back and forth to, then this is a great song to jam to.

I liked this one more than than the first.. The overall feeling is much better and the songs sounded good together.
Beat and Melody - 8/10
Really nice. More buildup and variety than the first one.
Transitions - 8/10
The majority of the transitions were pretty well done. There was only one or two that I thought were iffy.
Overall Rating - 8/10

Probably my favourite one out of the three, the song has a very addictive beat and tone hence allowing us to indulge in it and take us successfully to the next song.
Beat and Melody - 8/10
Yeah this song is funky and addictive, has a distinct beat that leaves a good after-taste after you are done with it, boop!
Transitions - 6/10
Its as good as the magikarp line, magikarp->gyarados, nuff said.
Overall Rating - 7/10
This song is nice and good for pop lovers, i cant really say much about this since i am no pop listener but i think its the usual dope so (y)

Synergy - 8.5/10
The synergy is great to be honest. Even though this mashup seemed more like highlights of specific parts of certain songs with extra instruments and beats in the background, they all sounded good and pleasant to the ears.
Beat and Melody - 8/10
The beat and melody is really quite catchy.
Transitions - 8/10
The transitions were smooth as well, but I didn't like the transition to #selfie. #selfie is by far the worst song in 2014 in my opinion and I really didn't enjoy that bit.
Overall Rating - 8/10
This year's Pop Danthology was nice, not the best, but at least it was enjoyable. If you enjoy simple mashups, this is a mashup for you.

The opening was godsend, with Black Widow and Bang Bang as the instrumentals, but as the mashup progressed, it kinda lost its hype.
Beat and Melody - 8/10
I have to say, the beat and melody did sound great, adding different instrumentals here and there.
Transitions - 8/10
Some were great, some were not. It isn't consistent, but I guess it's alright.
Overall Rating - 9/10
It's good. If you are a pop lover like me, then I recommend you listening to it. Does take some time to warm up to you.

Beat and Melody - 8/10

Transitions - 9/10
I was satisfied with pretty much all of the transitions. Really nice flow between songs.

This is my favorite one out of the three. I just think all the songs had a relatively nice flow and seemed to go really nicely with the others. Would definitely recommend to pop fans.

The synergy is passable, some parts were nice and some parts were really bad, but the songs in 2014 were very bad anyway, oh well.
Beat and Melody - 6.5/10
The beat and melody could be better, and as stated in my review of Pop Danthology 2014, I really dislike the song #selfie, so the parts where Anaconda and #selfie were mixed together was very very distasteful in my opinion.
Transitions - 6/10
The transitions sounded lazily done, and some were really abrupt and unpleasant.
Overall Rating - 6.5/10
So this is the first time I've listened to something by Robin Skouteris, and I didn't really like this mashup. It's too long to be enjoyable to be honest, and I just didn't find the synergy/beats and melody nice.

The songs mixing together sounds awesome. Some parts does sound iffy, but it still great
Beat and Melody - 8/10
I'm gonna say it's okay, but then some parts really irritate me for some reason, especially the hip hop-ish parts
Transitions - 6/10
I'd say it was kinda terrible, since the connection to one part to the other sounds off. One part, we have fast tempo, then we go slow, then fast?
Overall Rating - 8/10
I really like the mashup. One gripe for me is the hip hop-ish parts. I wasn't feeling them. But that Shake It off part really did get me.

Damn...the beat of this song melds very well with the lyrics going on. Even though the song in itself is 11 minutes long and contains 55 different songs - which made me worried at the beginning that it wouldn't work - Robin Skouteris was very meticulous with his song choices and didn't try to force something in there that overall shouldn't have been in there. Out of the three songs given to me, this song would be the one which I could see myself jamming out to at the club. Transitions are spot on, and you overall don't feel like you're being overwhelmed by the beats. The song in itself is very fluid and flows very well - this song is definitely being ripped for my iPod. Oh yeah...that speed tempo at the 5 minute mark with Taylor Swift, as well as the Nicky Minaj segment at the 9 minute mark combined with The Chainsmokers absolutely fits the definition of what Leijon was looking for: "eargasmic."
