Oooh! I know that guy! I met him a few times at the Toronto Fanexpo a couple years back! He is an amazing artist and this concept is brilliant (he has such talent, too!)

My favorite part is the comments berating him when it's obvious they didn't even bother to check out the site and get more information on what he does first.

kura: WHOA you met the guy?? that's awesome. yeah it is definitely a brilliant concept, i know as a kid i would've been stoked if i was part of it!

touj: LOL. i didn't notice that at first, but it made me laugh once i read them. it's embarrassing, the way people try so hard to be heroes (and just end up looking like idiots).

Such a great project. Reminds me of my first picture, which was equally dark; reading the comments are good too, some people just really underestimate children. Shows how ignorant a lot of teachers really are, I think a lot of them don't think of children as actual human beings.

i agree vendak, and i've found the last thing anyone should ever do when it comes to kids is underestimate them. most are incredibly intelligent with insight that grownups tend to downplay, overlook, or just flat out not listen to. i hope more projects like this get done in the future!
