Killing Time

I know people have been saying I should buck up and be positive about my whole unemployment deal and I should not worry about it, but how can I when all they talk about in the news is the continuing economic slide. Even as the U.S. Senate is debating over the revised Stimulus package, it'll be a long time before we see ANY improvements. So, I may be unemployed for a long time.

With that said, I got a lot of time on my hands. So, I'm going to unleash my creative beast that has been hibernating since 2004!!

I was recently inspired by Signomi's artwork as of late. So much that I've decided to try my hand on doing that type of art. Digital art. Using a program and tablet like Siggy. I think.

Anyway, I saw the program she uses and she told me it's teh smex. Or whatever that means. XD So, I guess she's telling me it's a good program. I think.

So, once I start getting unemployment benefits, I'll go after that program. Then, I'll need a drawing tablet, since I REALLY DON'T want to use a mouse to do my dirty work. I'll have to get a good one that won't cost me a lot because even though the Wacom brand is top of the line, it's EXPENSIVE!!!!! So, I'll check on that later.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go see if anybody's hiring. I already checked out Gamestop (they ain't), Best Buy (they ain't either) and I'll talk to my buddy about his job at Home Depot (I bet they ain't hiring either!!).

Yay! You going to start drawing soon. Man, I can't draw worth a dime. I can make graphics, but I can't draw. Oh wow working in Home Depot will be perfect for you! You can do stock or whatever. I hope they are hiring.

The best advice I can give you is to just lower your standards. It's what I'm going to do if I ever job hunt again.
