What do me and O.J. Simpson have in common?

June 17.

That date is what the two of us have in common. June 17th is my birthday. But June 17th is also the date of O.J.'s infamous slow speed chase through Los Angeles with the LAPD after the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

It didn't help that the chase was aired on TVs all over America and that alone overshadows anything else very important. I mean, the cure for cancer might be discovered on that day in the near future, unless the 2012 bullcrap happens, but everybody will probably still think of O.J.'s chase with the cops on June 17.

Many good things in sports happened on that day or so ESPN's 30 For 30 will show, but O.J. saw all the good sports stuff, got jealous and greedy. So he decided to kill his wife and her friend and decided "I'm going to get in a white Ford Bronco and lead the LAPD on a slow chase all over the city, where TV cameras will pick it up! Yeah, that's what I'll do." But that's just my interpretation.

Maybe on the 17th, I'll play Grand Theft Auto IV, kill some people in that game and lead the cops on a slow speed chase throughout Liberty City.

Oh yeah you told me about this. Dang, I remember watching the chase on tv. Oh man boy was he in trouble! And he got away with it. :/ At first I didn't think he did it, but as time goes on I changed my mind. He did it because he was the only one around. Maybe because he was a great actor and a football star...I guess I misjudged him. But I am glad he got what he deserves. Got arrested for burglary and now he is in prison. It is like he is in prison for the death of Nicole and Ronald. Justice is served. But your birthday has to be on when that chase scene happened.
