An ambition

Well, more like something I'm admitting, it is not something I am ever going to be able to do. I want to work for GameFreak. I know I never will. But it is what I would like to do with my game. I would love to work for the Pokemon Company, using my game and future qualifications as a portfolio. I even wish to learn Japanese to get it. But I know it's impossible, and this makes me sad.

Tbf this is a damn good dream to have.

You could help develop TCGO, as I'm fairly certain that's being developed and supported within the United States!

But, of course, that's not GameFreak, just TPCi.

I have a similar ambition. I wanna work in KojiPro. Wanna work on a future metal gear game. But that's not gonna happen, is it? Naah...

Don't doubt yourself before you've given your best try at something.

Go for it! I had people knocking me down telling me I'd never have a chance in the industry but I got it.. so whatever dream you may have.. just go for it and do the best you can to achieve it!

It's possible; just ask Coolboyman, he's used ROM Hacking (which, arguably, is probably less relatable) to pave his way into the game making industry and is now well on his way.
