Kel Mitchell, and other stuff I've been doing in life because I was too lazy to write at the time

So Comicpalooza, Texas's largest comic book convention was just this past weekend! It was my first comic con (that I actually had access to, SDCC did not count), and it was the best three days ever!

Highlight of my weekend: Kel Mitchell!

Got to meet him this Saturday for a photo op. Spent $50 for it and was able to include my boyfriend in the picture. I posted it on the Picture thread here for y'all to see. Guys, Kel is the most down to earth guy I've ever met. Like, if you walked past him and ask for a selfie or autograph with him, he will say yes without hesitation. My friend went home happy when he got a selfie from him. He's...one of those celebrities that did not care about fame or fortune. He cared about his fans the most.

His Q&A Panel was the following day (Sunday), and he got to recite some of the most famous lines from his shows such as All That, Kenan and Kel, and one of my favorite movies, Good Burger.

Check out the video I posted on FB!

Anyways. It was an amazing weekend. My current relationship with Roy is like an ocean right now, as I've reached the phase where we're beginning to get annoyed at each other's behaviors. There was a point where he gets really moody and wants certain things at certain times. And there's also me who gets nervous and anxious about every little petty thing. This was proven on Saturday during the convention where we seriously needed some space for ourselves after we fought about what T-shirt he wanted at a booth. I ended up going to a panel, while he stayed at the Gaming Area watching an Overwatch tournament. It's still a learning process and as long as communication is key, we can get through the stormy waters and the rough waves out there, as we've done several times in the past few months.

I'm no longer working at the bank as an IT administrator. I was fired from my boss because my 90 day review was very poor, but surely it was actually rigged because my boss had been giving me a hard time since the beginning of May. Having to fight for my mileage that was never given when I traveled an hour to and from home for two weeks straight, as well as getting time off to focus on my schoolwork, in which I will be done in September. Literally, the weight was lifted off my shoulders as I left the company, and quite honestly, I'm not sad at all. At the moment I'm still waiting for call-backs from peeps out there, so securing another job by the end of the month is my current goal. Right now, rest is no longer a virtue for me...since I'm currently taking a summer course.
