So I was training Latias against Pryce just then. He sent in Abomasnow. I decided to start setting Calm Minds since I knew I would be able to sweep his whole team if I had enough.

First Calm Mind...

Second Calm Mind...

Third Calm Mind...
Abomasnow's Blizzard freezes me. Damn, okay I'll just wait the turns out.

Here are its moves for reference:
- Blizzard [5]
- Ice Shard [30]
- Earthquake [10]
- Wood Hammer [15]

Now by the time I was able to thaw out, I thought he'd be near Struggling range so I decided to count how much PP he had left. Of course, as soon as I saw his final move Earthquake, I knew it was his final move and that's when i finished him off with +6 Psychic.

He had used 6 Wood Hammers before I finally thawed out. So that's:
* 5 Blizzard
+ 30 Ice Shard
+ 9 Wood Hammer

That's a 44 turn freeze... then I need to factor in the Moomoo Milk I used about every third turn... I'm just going to say 14. So that's 58 turns wasted.

Now just then I timed how long a turn takes approximately[ 20 seconds. So 58 * 20 is 1160 seconds which is a bit more than 19 minutes that i wasted.

Now here's the even more ridiculous part. Freeze has a 10% chance of defrosting each turn right?

0.9^44 = 9.6977 * 10^-3
which is approximately 1%, which is actually higher than I expected.

My previous record was a 26 turn freeze. This trumps that entirely.

Damn you game Freak, damn you.

EDIT: Oops, forgot to subtract the three turns that Blizzard has been used before being frozen. It doesn't change much so I can't be bothered to recalculate everything.
