"High high high up in the sky, there's a whale swimming round."

Poor Nikki. But it's just too cute.

Note:
D'sewer is how I saw d'aww, always replacing 'awww' with sewer after Kitty-chan's iPod kept auto-correcting her aww to sewer. It just stuck. Now I have to use it. >_<

Eike "Rhymes With Bike" and Ale"Xander":

"What's your name?" I asked with a huge grin across my face at the little guy who moved so quickly he was basically nothing but a blur.

"My name's Eike!," He yelled, not missing a beat with what he was doing, which was bouncing from wall to wall, as if trying to somehow expel an infinite amount of energy. "That rhymes with BIKE!" He concluded, proudly, and I found myself laughing.

"Yes. Yes it does."

I watched for another minute or two as he made all kinds of strange sounds. Maybe in his head he was some sort of vehicle. I wasn't sure what make believe universe he had put himself into. "Are you a mutant?" I asked, wondering if their mother had had a talk with them. Both of the boys were surprisingly older than I'd thought they'd be, however, it seemed to be because of tampering, causing them to develop at an increased rate. In actuality, the two young boys couldn't be more than a few months old.

Eike "That rhymes with bike" took no time in answering me, as he ran up the wall, his feet sticking with ease (which reminded me of his father in that movie during some scene). "NO!" He shouted.

I couldn't help but smile broadly at his innocent little reply. He must really have no idea. "Then what are you?" I bounced back. I still hadn't gotten a good look at him, but I could see that his head was fixed on me intently at that next question.

"I'm an Eike!" Heh. The kid was a species all to himself. That I could actually see happening. He was a BULLET. he also had a habit of yelling. Everything that came out of his mouth, from simple things to questions, were always bellowed with the full force of his lungs, it seemed. That's something he did not share with his soft-spoken father.

His back pressed high to the ceiling, he made a statement I was not expecting. "I'm high as a kite!" I thought I was going to explode with laughter. Clearly he didn't know what that really meant. Cayce fell in love after that immediately, telling me 'HE IS PERFECT XD' on our little chat. We're already planning to kidnap the little tadpoles.

Trying to keep my composure, I beckoned the boy to come down, and he did finally, and I got my first real look at him. He was a product of Toady alright. I held him down while he was smiles and giggles, working his strong legs to try and pry me off. His expressions, the way he moved his face, was a screaming impression of his father. I also noticed that his tiny face was marked with purple.....bruises? Possibly from being so hyper, which would easily result in accidents. But the swollen patch around one of his big eyes concerned me. I noted the delicate webbing between his little fingers as he grabbed a handful of my shirt to try to tear me away.

I eventually let him escape and he was extremely confident of this "accomplishment", daring me to catch him as he scaled walls and taunted me.

His twin brother sat in the corner reading a book. It was a new book because I could smell the freshly print pages (I am notorious for sniffing books) never opened. Alexander, "Xander for short" as he introduced himself, was by standard definition, an introvert. The entire time his brother made bonds and attachments to us, he sat in the corner although he wouldn't necessarily avoid an intelligent conversation. Xander didn't seem the type to start a chat until he was prompted to.

His face and bodily features were remarkably more human than his sibling's, but his eyes, nearly blind, were set behind a humongous pair of goggle-looking glasses. The frames nearly took up half of his pale and mousey face. Despite his more humanoid shape, traces of Toad could still be seen, and he also made similar expressions when making eye contact with me to where I could see more than the top of his fuzzy head.

A sucker for glasses, and genius children, I was instantly more drawn to Xander than his brother. But i did not want to interrupt his reading pleasure. He looked so fixated that I was afraid if I said something that broke his concentration, his brain would shatter. That's just how engrossed he was.

But I was also a wonder at what his mutant abilities were. I was aware that both boys were indeed blessed with unique skills, and Eike's inherited from his father, but with a mutant, these things aren't concrete (as I found in my research). That means that Xander could possess an entirely unique ability, separate of his blood related family. The mother, who hated mutants, I assumed was human. Xander turned the page, not blinking, as if the text would disappear or change if he did. My heart melted and I wanted to hug him, but Eike plummeting down onto my back snapped me from thought.

After yelling at me to wake up, he scrambled back up the wall, trying to get my attention again.

Eike had already grown attached to Cayce whom he referred to as "K Say". I lead him to the computer there next to his father's bedside in the operating room (where Toad lay before he was taken to another room to wait for the effects of a drug to wear off). neither of the boys had met their father, and still haven't even as I write this. Tomorrow should be a fun reunion. I was finally reminded of what Eike put me in the mind of - Drunk Gohan song/scene. Eike was a constant drunk Gohan, maybe even more out of control. But he obeyed when Cayce was around on the screen, the robotic twinge of a voice reading her replies to him. He seemed to delighted in her that when Mystic entered, I left him there with the computer and wandered off to Toady.

Hopefully he loves his kids as much as Cayce and I do. If not, we're willing to take them off his hands. XD <3

Inhuman:

"I'm bad. My face is bad. Mom helps it."

Toad's colleague reported what Eike had been found to be saying, when she questioned the deep marks that littered his face (and as I've recently found out, his entire body......the massive dark spots on his ribs, and everything else makes me literally cry).

His story is that his "funny" (that's the word he used) appearance is "bad" and that it must be "punished". That punishing the bad things makes them better, and he would name off parts of his body as being "bad". "My eyes are bad." "My tooths are bad."

Furthermore, Regina had told both of the boys that Toad had abandoned them for being "bad" and that they were hated by their father. Xander seems to have drawn his own conclusion that his mother is manipulative. Eike, however, throws fits if you try to contest anything his mother has told him.

And my blood boils. As a victim of extreme cases of child abuse myself, it's something I don't tolerate well.

And when I found that her neck was snapped by the boys' father due to her threatening to "dissect the boys for sake of medical science" and attacking him, a party went off in my head.

Ding dong. The witch is dead.
