Upon trying to come up with a topic to blog about, I came across a thought that has always come to mind. What it is it that brings out the creative spirit in each of us, and what makes inspiration...inspirational?

To answer this question one can not look at it as a broad generalization, at least not if they plan on getting overly specific. We all have our epiphanies, also known as so called "light bulb" moments. But if you think about it, there's no way that those ideas can truly come out of nowhere. Something, no matter how subtle it may be, triggers that inspiration. It may be an idea, a sentence, a phrase, or even just a word. It may be more of a sensed trigger such as a particular smell, a familiar/distinct sight, or even something you may subconsciously say yourself.

But now to part two of the question. "What is it that makes inspiration...inspirational?"

First off, what is meant by the question? Simply put it means this, what is it that sets apart the ideas that bore you, and your readers/viewers/listeners/ect., and the ideas that make you know that the person who presented them really knows what they're talking about. One could argue that it's extensive knowledge of the topic, and to an extent, that's probably true. However, there is also a philosophical approach to this question that is worth addressing. An idea that is not forced out of it's creator is much more likely to interest people than is an idea that appears forced out and over thought. That is not to say that good ideas can never be thought about beforehand. But, there's a limit to how hard they should be reviewed. If you were to dwell on an idea for too long, one of two things can happen. One is that you will come up with so much to say on the topic that it becomes boring and mundane, or two, it already sucks, and you will spend all of your time trying to make something out of nothing.

Whether or not there is any truth in what I have just said is up to you. Inspiration comes in so many ways to so many different people, that's impossible to bring them all forth at once. But the fact of the matter is, it comes to us, most of the time unexpectedly.

Well, there's my attempt at blog three. I would really like some comments/criticism/you telling me to quit now because it sucks that bad. If you use that last one, please, be nicer than that about it. ;;

Inspiration is the craving to do better and realising that if someone can do it, surely you can as well.
