Ending the theme of songs with guitar solos here, as I've got to end it sometime and there's too many others I could choose from, really. Besides, what with all these breaks of mine I think a change of that would be nice.

So let's go with a solo by good old Jimi Hendrix, one of the greats of the guitar (and of music in general). I figured that it's a decent way to end the theme.

Alternate link!

Lyrics:
Spoiler:

The lyrics are quite thoughtful and offer a lot of possible interpretations. One can probably attribute this to the fact this song is actually a cover. The original was written by one Bob Dylan, who is known for many other masterpieces such as Like a Rolling Stone and Blowing in the Wind. But this cover is probably the more popular version of the song. It's more like a poem than anything, and it doesn't have any verse or reoccurring line. Different can be quite nice though, and there's a story behind the lyrics.

The guitar complements the lyrics. There's a nice variety of sounds there, and it's backed up by decent drums too. There's a lot to like about this song, really. =p There's a few pieces of guitar throughout; I think I prefer the part between the 2nd and 3rd verse most though. The opening is pretty iconic though!

Next entry will be a tune requested by someone too long ago, and then I might go with a mix of whatever comes to my mind and stuff based on themes suggested by you, the listener! But more on that idea next entry. Whenever that'll be. =p

Next entry!

I'm a huge fan of this song and Hendrix's style and Dylan will always be one of the all-time idolised song writers, but I'm failing to find it as special as I think it was intended to be. Perhaps I'm too used to the original haha.

Maybe - sometimes it's hard to shake a particular rendition of a song in favour of another.
