Years
I'm jumping on the blog entry that looks back at the year bandwagon, and I can say it's a mixed year as far as the real life and online perspective was concerned. But let's focus on what happened at PC this year.

The year started with my name officially getting changed to Hikamaru, bringing an end to the era under my previous name (Hikari10) after 2 years + 9 months and boy I'm glad I changed for a better name because the old one had no significance to me at all.

I also was a heavy speculator following the announcement of Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, such as me accurately predicting a Game Corner no-show and the Hoenn Dex being the same + the nine 4th Gen evolutionary relatives. And of course falling in love with May's new cuter design. And it all ended with me finally playing the games, and I plan to push on with the Alpha Sapphire story in coming days as well.

Also, I started getting very active in The Welcome Lounge thanks to the spark in me ignited by the two staff members who regularly post there, Sheep and Dragon. Now the section is my unofficial home on the forums, but I'm still present in a lot of areas as well, usually Pokemon ones. The year also saw my activity improve greatly with very little issues, and I'm happy it ended up that way.

The changes to supporters was definitely the biggest thing to change forum-wise this year, it did take me a while to get used to having to settle with text underneath my name in postbits after being used to a userbar since I was welcomed to the supporters' clan in 2012. Hopefully 2015 adds the missing piece of the puzzle which is new userbars for the supporters. But the fun part is being able to have customizable usertitles now, and having a blue username again given the old green just wasn't... me.

March saw me finally earn a coveted PC Veteran emblem with me celebrating my 3rd PCversary, and realize how different I am viewed now compared to 2011 when I was a mega-noob. My 22nd birthday may have felt empty in real life, but on PC it was still full of messages and Oshy-goodness typical of a celebration centered around me.

Hopefully 2015 will see this forum throwing awesome stuff at me, even if it's unexpected. Anyways, looking forward to what we'll see... or who I may predict will become a staff member like I have done since the last few years or so.

So yeah, this year will be remembered as an odd one but still fun and can't wait to see what the year ahead has in store for PC!
