I'm neither going to upvote or downvote this.
Don't get me wrong, some of the coolest people I know are homosexual. Hell, some of the people I get along with best are homosexual! I in no discriminate against them, (save perhaps an occasional jest, but it's treated appropriately as a joke, or teasing) and am all for people having the right to love whoever they want to.
But, downvoting a youtube video isn't going to change anything. Speak up and out to your government if you want to stand for LGBT rights.

Though perhaps you could downvote the video and then contact your government and point out how unpopular the video is as proof that you are not alone in your feelings?

Every little bit helps.

I'm not sure how things go in Ireland, but I think American government is proof that just speaking out against something isn't always going to do anything. But when there's backing evidence, like what Scarf said, you have more of a case. It may not do anything drastic, but every bit does help.

Media is more powerful than government, always has been. So there's plenty of reason as to why this would assist the LGBT community campaign if the video were to be down-voted. It's an un-official tally of votes essentially, which will always aid political argument. Political arguments have to be based on something after-all, even mundane statistics as to how unpopular a TV commercial against Gay Rights can help aid a body of argument.
