Playground Battling Club Launches

Just over a year ago, I posted this to my blog about alternatives to the Competitive Battling standard that's dominating online Pokémon battling, which I dubbed 'Playground Battling'.

I think I need to get some work down on my stuff, and I think I really have to improve my skills now, no matter what... I think I'll just do my best. Battle Subway isn't being kind to me, especially in Doubles. Now, I wonder whether someone out there is kind enough to help out...

I'm done with Competitive Battling.

You see, I rolled on in to GameFAQS, had a few battles today, got my first win, feeling pretty happy about myself.

I go to this one topic, this guy was up for a battle. I took him on.

Fastforward to the end of the match, I predicted his Jirachi would switch out, so my Ferrothorn used Power Whip, and KO'ed his SubSwampert.

A Lot of My Wins Are Just Luck

I'm not the best battler out there. Not even minutely close. I tend to think I have one of the biggest losing streaks of someone who tries to remain fair... At this point it's about 28-296 W-L against actual people (And I have been counting random wi-fi lately)

That's right... Statistically, for every win I have, I also have about 11 losses. (10.57... I'm just rounding up)

And a lot of those wins were against elementary kids who bothered me by bragging about their unbeatable...
