Okay, so I was originally going to post today about Ichibancon, that anime convention I went to this past weekend where I...
*Pretty much headed to Charlotte NC and back home in secret
*Endured 48+hours combined to and from on Greyhound buses
*Stayed more upscale than I usually do - at the Renaissance Charlotte Suites Hotel (nice place but WHY do they charge $12.95/night for internet???)
*Couldn't get into the "Pokemon Game Show" despite cosplaying as Blue/Leaf...

Concerning the Pokemon Games...

Am I the only one here who's OCD about what Trainer ID Number is assigned to my character? Because I've been known to soft reset my games at the very beginning until I finally get an ID number that I feel is "attractive" to me.

Is anyone else like this or am I just odd?

As an aside, my dream Trainer ID would be 29715, which is the zip code for Fort Mill, South Carolina. So far, no luck with 29715, and I usually run out of patience and settle for some other...

Yeah, this probably isn't considered a proper fan fiction, as it's meant more as a reference to one of the more ridiculous aspects of Pokemon than anything else. Plus it's way short and doesn't have much in the way of plot, character development, or any of that stuff. Adding that stuff's unnecessary to show the point that I'm trying to make with this anyway.

Pokemon Fandom Crossroads?

Whoo, first entry in a really long time!

The million dollar question for me now is, where do I take my Pokemon fandom from here? If Black/White were any indication, I won't be liking where the Pokemon game franchise goes in the future. Due to the many flaws inherent in those games, it doesn't make for good replayability. I'm not looking forward to R/S remakes either as the region itself has not stood the test of time. Unfortunately it looks like the games, which got me hooked on...
