Scary Stuff

So I just learned that there was a murder/suicide in my town over the weekend and that I wasn't that far away when it happened. Somehow I didn't hear the sound of the gun (or I was too far away or maybe I don't know what they really sound like) or catch sight of any police cars or anything. I feel sad about what happened of course, but also kind light and energized. Is that a bit weird?
