Okay, last night, leveling up outside Dragonspiral Cave, I ran into and caught a SHINY MIENFOO!

Not two hours later, on Route 9, I got a SHINY DUOSION!

I swear, I'm not kidding, and I have no idea how I'm getting so lucky with shinies. Must be my excessive level grinding and spending hours int he same patch of grass, lol

Anyway, White progress...

-Defeated Skyla at level 41.

Another random White blog...

First point is in no way related to my play-through, but I found out my brother had ALREADY tried to go all Action Replay on his copy of Black. This is why I can't trade or battle with him. Oh, and he's playing through the game with only two Pokemon. Says he's gonna work on his actual team when he gets to Shopping Mall Nine and buys the HP Up and stuff... good luck leveling those guys up so late in the game, buddy...

Shiny Patrat is shiny...

And now it's mine! Yep, caught one last night in the Dreamyard. My first fifth gen shiny! Sorry, no screenshot yet, gotta dig my camera out of wherever it is.

Other news on White...

-Beat Cilan with Pokemon around level 18.

-Numerous run-ins with Team Plasma. Hey, Plasma guys, there's a distinct difference between "liberation" and "abduction," okay. Try to figure out that difference before we meet again.

-Trying to level...

So, finally got White today...

Haven't made a lot of progress today (only started on Route 1) but anyway...

-Chose the (fashion-challenged) girl, named her Ashley. Instead of that cute daisy print dress she has in her closet, her mom made her wear that revealing outfit she picked up at the thrift store for $4.99.
