Sounding Off

This is just a personal blog where I occasionally review stuff, since apparently I like writing. Don't expect my reviews to be amazing, but personally, I feel they're pretty good! The rating system is different between mediums. Video games I give a letter grade, Movies and TV shows I give star grades. Note that a fraction after a number of stars means that many stars plus that fraction of another star. I.e. *** 3/4 would be three full stars and three quarters of another star. Hope you guys like the stuff!

So, yeah. That girl I wanted to ask to prom? My friend wants to ask her. And I'm retreating and helping the kid out. He's a sweet guy, and given that I already had my chance and failed, I think it's only fair for him. And I'm not even upset. =]

PC members from the New York area, listen up!

Okay, so those of you who've associated with me may have or have not noticed my wish for a PC meetup to happen for the longest time. And, well, now I'm taking steps to see if that's even possible. I know a few of the moderators are from New York and New Jersey, but I don't know if they'd want to be down for this. And I'm sure there are a few people that I know that slipped from my mind who live in the NY area. I don't really think this will accomplish anything, but it's worth a try.

The Hunt for College is Over

And I'm going to Hunter College CUNY. I'll let the preceding sink into your head for a second. puns

Anyway, my parents and I sat down today to discuss my future. And originally, I wanted to go to Stony Brook. But my father offered to pay everything if I went to Hunter, cause I basically had to only pay $2000 for the tuition plus fees and such (I'm not dorming).

April is officially PC Party Month

I might be taking some time off this week cause school's a pain the butt, but I don't need to be on all the time to notice the blossom of celebration threads! We have promotions, anniversaries, birthdays! Has April always been like this? I'm pretty pleased, though, it's really nice to see such positive events taking place.

Don't mind me, I'm just stating the obvious. =P

This is going to be a long rant of sorts, so sorry for any typos/negative perceptions that might occur as a result.

So, this all started yesterday night when me and my friend, who I'll dub P, were texting in order keep me alive from the insanely boring day that was yesterday. She was telling me about how she liked this dude, and was wanted to tell him, but was too afraid to say yes. I already knew the dude was me, so I played along and eventually made her brave enough to admit it....
