Life imitates art (crappy, painful art)

Posted May 11th, 2012 at 08:05 AM by Esper (The Uncarved Blog)

I always wanted my life to be more like a movie, but falling and twisting my ankle was not what I had in mind. Anyone have any suggestions for ways to pass the time when you're a bedridden invalid? I'm gonna get sick of the internet eventually. Which is funny since I don't mind spending so much time on it normally, but now that I'm facing being forced to rely on it for my entertainment it's losing a lot of its appeal.

Scary Stuff

So I just learned that there was a murder/suicide in my town over the weekend and that I wasn't that far away when it happened. Somehow I didn't hear the sound of the gun (or I was too far away or maybe I don't know what they really sound like) or catch sight of any police cars or anything. I feel sad about what happened of course, but also kind light and energized. Is that a bit weird?

This comes completely out of order from the way you're supposed to learn it, but here we go anyway. Today you get to learn about introductions.
