Serious Homework Overload

Just figured I'd let you all in on the world that haunts me for ten months out of the year, and how I keep it from controlling me. :D Because, really, I needed a place to plan my priorities, and I love sharin' with y'all.

Assignments that should be done by tomorrow:
  1. Read chapters 9, 10, and 11 in my novel for Anthropology. (52 pages)
  2. Read chapters 1, 2, and 5 in textbook for Anthropology. (68 pages)
  3. Draw three maps for Anthropology. Yeah, that's more than stupid...

For the past I don't even know how many years, I've found myself in the horrible habit of staying up incredibly late (some would possibly say even, early?), and waking up very late in the afternoon - when possible. I've decided to find out what possesses me to stay up.

...couldn't find a single, valid reason.

Whether it's just browsing YouTube, Wikipedia, Facebook, or lounging right here in PC, I'm never doing ANYTHING of importance at these hours, and I'm very rarely...

So, today was my first day of my new university, and I... am so tired. D:

I got up around 6:00 am, left my house around 7:30, and got to school around 8:15 because of horrible traffic on the interstate (but hey, it's still quicker than other routes).

Everyone told me parking was horrible, but I found a parking garage right away... and got in on the first level, no problems. Grudged through the "let's read through the syllabus" deal with all my classes, and...

Sad news for Japanese-learners!

Yeah, so I just read that the Japanese Agency For Cultural Affairs is more than likely going to increasing the number of Joyo Kanji one needs to know in order to be "proficient" in the Japanese language. All you looking to take the JLPT, oh, we're gonna have even more fun! :D They're adding a total of 196 new Kanji to the list, making a total of 2,136.

For anyone learning Japanese, you know that Kanji is perhaps the hardest feat to master. Not just because of the sheer number...
