If you want to know the real me, just turn the page in my dirt road diary.
It’s right there for you to see, every kiss, every beer, every cotton field memory.
Tan legs & some Dixie Land delight, ridin’ round, windows down on a summer night.
I was there, and that was me. It's right here in my dirt road diary.

Life in California Blog entries that are about my previous live in Sunny (yet not so glamorous) California. San Diego, Imperial Valley, & other places I've been in.

So I just tried to make use of my free time here for this month…and so far it's going okay. I bought a Wii U, I'm trying to visit Roy once a week or so, and trying to pick up more hours at work so that way I don't have to feel all cooked up at my loft.

is it weird that I actually miss them?

Posted December 26th, 2014 at 12:16 AM by Meganium (Dirt Road Diary)

Usually I am not around the internet AT ALL during the holidays, because I use it to spend all the time with family. It took us weeks to finally accept the fact that we won't be able to spend Christmas in Mexico like we always have. Like I always have all my life. This year I spent Christmas at home for the very first time, and let me tell you...it felt a bit eerie. I would always...

It's never too early...

...to make someone's Christmas a little more merrier. Today, my inner element of Generosity caused me to do this, and it doesn't even matter if I'm her most favorite person ever, but I really want to see her move forward in life.

So I have this co-worker friend, she was the first co-worker I met when I first started at my new workplace. She's mainly a night stocker but she's now a cashier. She's 10 years older than me and is a single mother of two little boys. A few nights ago when...
