Over-reliance on a community

So Salamence's position in the battling community is currently being assessed, and Latias has just been moved back to the über tier in the metagame ladder. Cue fans yelling, female dogging, and screaming.

The Pokémon fanbase's overreliance on a "battling standard" and almost always following the rules of a single (major) battling community is just stupid. Why are these kiddies yelling "über, über" just because some Soul Dew Latias is sent out? Or etc. etc. etc....

Black, white, and logotype

Is this generation the serious big break with the logos? I love how GameFreak simply changes logos as they please, and the awesome 5th generation logos are… well… awesome. It's a shame Nintendo of America probably won't change the Pokémon US logo… ever.

Whatever the case if you're reading, look at the logos for Red and Green - how they've evolved! (No pun intended.)
