Over-reliance on a community

So Salamence's position in the battling community is currently being assessed, and Latias has just been moved back to the über tier in the metagame ladder. Cue fans yelling, female dogging, and screaming.

The Pokémon fanbase's overreliance on a "battling standard" and almost always following the rules of a single (major) battling community is just stupid. Why are these kiddies yelling "über, über" just because some Soul Dew Latias is sent out? Or etc. etc. etc....

YouTube HD video is a gogo

Meanwhile since I clocked Portal a year ago, I probably should start getting the achievement for these transmissions done, just so that I've… finished it.


edit 3: I hate videos.

Oh yeah, the 720p video tag stretches layouts badly.
edit: so I shrunk it.
edit 2: At least you get 720p when you to fullscreen mode. So yeah, the tag gives you the YouTube HD video mode.

Black, white, and logotype

Is this generation the serious big break with the logos? I love how GameFreak simply changes logos as they please, and the awesome 5th generation logos are… well… awesome. It's a shame Nintendo of America probably won't change the Pokémon US logo… ever.

Whatever the case if you're reading, look at the logos for Red and Green - how they've evolved! (No pun intended.)

Hello Korean Game Corner

It's sorta sad knowing the slots were replaced with this game, but at least it's decent and somewhat addictive. That and you don't lose any money (less than you already have, that is) from playing it! And it has the card flip music in it too!

(Yes, I realise I suck.)

I still like the Smeargle Pachinko in the original slots, though.
