How to pet a kitty

Posted October 7th, 2012 at 10:41 AM by Mr Cat Dog (ZOMG! A wild Blog appeared!)

First things first, I take absolutely zero credit for this. It’s from the good folks at The Oatmeal, and it was linked to me by someone on Facebook, so I can’t even claim that I found it organically. Nevertheless, I give you: How to pet a kitty. Five small – yet powerful – steps in order to successfully caress that cat, fondle that feline, pet that pussy! (Oh dear, this is already getting off-track…)

In any event, have a look below:

THE UNTHINKABLE HAS HAPPENED!

This time next week I will be in a precarious position. As Charles Dickens famously wrote, it will be "the best of times and the worst of times". But while the 'best of times' will be detailed in another blog post to be written next week, the 'worst of times' is something that's all too apparent as I type this.

Simply put... I've run out of avatar suggestions!

As many people know, for the past year-and-a-bit, I've changed my avatar every week to either a cartoon...

"Smack that!" vs. "Hair flip!"

Vote for one or the other in the comments.

The one with the most votes 24 hours after this has been posted will win.

THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT AND THE RESULTS WILL HAVE GREAT CONSEQUENCES, SO CHOOSE WISELY!

That's all. Now get on with your lives.

I'm gonna miss this place.

No jokes; just goodbyes. I'm leaving PC. Circumstances in my offline life have led me to make this hard decision, and it's not - unlike the last time I left - the fault of anyone here. For the most part, this place is a great one to hang out in, and I love a lot of the people who call this forum home. I've rekindled old friendships and started the journey of making new ones. Hopefully some of us will still be able to talk after this... although it certainly might be harder....
