I need songs for karaoke!

So... yeah. I'm going to karaoke on Saturday night and need to think of some songs to sing! Because I will of course be gracing the world with the wonder that is my voice. The only song I'm definitely doing is this:



This one's completely set in stone. I've been rehearsing in the mirror doing my best J-Tizzle impression for weeks days hours now and I've got that falsetto bit down to a T! The original plan was to do Bonnie Tyler's 'Total Eclipse of the Heart'...

So, yeah. I've been listening to this non-stop for the past 30 minutes and thought I'd share. It's certainly one of the better Mario Paint compositions I've heard in a looooooong-ass time.

Summer book club, anyone?

I've been thinking about starting a book club for a while now, and just wanted to know if anyone would actually be interested, or if this is just a pipe dream on my part?

It'd probably be a summer-only type of thing, and the books that we'd read would be ones already in the public domain (so people can download them for free), and there'd probably be one book per month. I imagine having a thread in C&M for every book, created at the start of each month, and then a few weeks in -...

Binge = COMPLETE!

OK, so about a month ago, I decided to go on a lil' anime binge. Partly to help kick-start my Japanese revision - of which it failed miserably; the only two words I now know are that 'renkinjutsu' = alchemy and 'niisan' = older brother - but mostly to actually dip my proverbial toe in the vast ocean that is the world of anime. And as of now, the binge is complete!

As an introduction to the world of anime, it was certainly an interesting one. None of the shows I selected were massively...
