Is it 2015 already?

Let's all hail the new Spanish overlord. He now controls the Congress (186/350 seats), the Senate (136/208), most of the Communities [States for you Americans] (13/19), and half of the councils in the country.

And he got all that with less votes than our previous President Zapatero needed to barely get a minority Government 4 years ago with 169 deputies in the Congress.

I think I should seriously think about moving to some foreign country. Maybe the UK, as long as I'm still allowed as a citizen of the still-existant European Union.

How are the immigration laws in Australia? And Canada? I think I should decide something before the Eurozone collapses around Christmas.

Yeah, that's Spanish for 9/11.

Anyway, I was at school, and nobody said anything until our classes ended. It happened around 3 PM, and two hours later my mom arrived and told me that planes had crashed against two towers in New York and they had collapsed, and I originally thought it was just the top of the towers that did. But then I arrived home and we went to watch the longest Telediario up to date- 7 hours long. And next day we bought a newspaper to read the news. A shocking day,...

The city centre in Madrid has been closed down!

It's a shame that I'm not there this month, because I would love to walk around the place- the police only let you with with a press pass around the Puerta del Sol, the city centre. The metro and the train has been closed, the strrets have been blockaded by police... fun!
