I'm so happy! I bought
for 2,700 yen! (About $30 Canadian) on HobbyLinkJapan because of a special promo!
And like I'm sooo excited because it's normally like $69 US! @@ And shipping was only $10 instead of the usual $25 from like everywhere else! Like look even here!

It's so sexy~...

New but actually old animation..

Alright.. I finally got around to uploading that mega file of my Beak/Muzzle sync animation..

If you're wondering why certain parts of the body are disappearing, it's called a "Held Cell" or a traceover. Basically, because that part of the body isn't moving at that time, the animator doesn't draw it in because they don't want the lines to "boil" (shift around slightly.) It's how the pros do it before it gets its final pencil test/ paint job.

So I went to see Up yesterday. It wasn't in 3D, but damn, it was so beautiful!
It made me cry so many times throughout. It was such an amazing story, too.

What really made me feel for it, too, is that I realize how much work the animators, riggers, background artists, story artists, and etc, do to get the final product looking like this.

And then it makes me so sad when people decide to leave during the credits. These people put in hard work for years! A film...

Yes! That's right! I've been wanting one for a LONG time and it was like no less than $150 ANYWHERE! Ebay, Toy websites, Amazon, ANYWHERE! Like.. I was even feeling like finding it for $80 was a fluke, but then shipping was like $50.. and damn.. way too much if you then count the customs..

:/ Soo.. I thought all was over..
But then I was talking to my cousin about it. And she mentioned Kijiji, and it's like.. local Toronto classifieds..

And they had a Duel disk...
