Crazy as I may be, I'm back at going for 200 in the Battle Arcade. This time on HeartGold with the team that got to 175 on Platinum. It's been smooth sailing thus far, which feels familiar yet scary in a way. Had a surprising challenge with Dahlia at 49 (let's just say Togekiss got about seven crits and some change), but managed to pull off a 1-3 comeback there with Salamence. Cruising along toward 70, I come upon game 5, #68. The board flickers Aerodactyl, Tyranitar, and Medicham. Nothing too threatening...

I've been playing lv.50 Battle Factory lately to get addicted take a break from the storyline. It's funny, when I try, I'm just frustrated. Today? I was just breezing past battles, wondering about how much sunburn I'll have tomorrow. (look Mum, I'm a burnt orange lol) Squirtle rocked 1-7 with others, 8-14 was easy with Cloyster and Hitmonlee, then I flew through up to 21 with Heracross and Octillery.

I finally found my rhythm in the Battle Arcade again, cruising past the 130 mark, with my goal to dethrone my enemy on Smogon nearing. (Team Rocket Elite, who captured 194) I was on 135 and on a roll... when my game... froze. ;_;

... damn I'm tired, but I did find out that the 3 of 4 losses my Arcade team has suffered, could've been avoided. (just mental errors -- I was too defensive with these threats, when actually, if I played all-out, I might've won. The other loss, the one on 176, was really panel effect + bad luck with crits. If Umbreon wasn't slapped by ally-sleep or Suicune wasn't hit by a crit right...
