I'm actually kinda curious now with that...

A 2x song combo blog entry again, as it basically came down to 'dang it this band has a few too many examples of good guitar solos so I'll just pick two'.

It's The Doors again and I'm being dumb and picking songs that may not be the most known of theirs as well that'd fit the guitar solo theme. If you want such songs though then go for the likes of Light My Fire (sort of a combo guitar/keyboard set of solos), Soul Kitchen,...

This song for today has a few guitar riffs and solos in it! One at the beginning (relatively simple I suppose), a short piece after the first chorus and then the rather long one after the second. As with the previous this is one song I would think most people would have heard but it's worth a relisten anyways.

Granted, with Guns N' Roses (which is probably not to be confused with Toys R' Us) there's a bunch of songs that have neat solos that are worth listening to besides this one....

A song with a decently lengthed guitar solo! (About time)


...But you have to wait until the end of the song to get it. =p That's okay though as the song is pretty good throughout. It's Hotel California by The Eagles, a cool band with a number of good songs. I hope anyone who clicks this actually knows of this song given it is quite well known in general (youtube's millions of views for each video of this support this too), but if you don't... well, worth checking out then....

Points for whoever gets the title of the blog. =p (Does anyone get them on that note? I've been told they've been weird, so I'm keeping them).

Two songs this time around, although one is just a redone version of the former; if anything, two songs in one. Redone with a million awesome vocals and a short but nice guitar solo in it to go with its interesting history as well. Which is especially impressive as the original song has no vocals!

But to begin, it's just a memorable...

Going to start with some songs with guitar solos in the next update if not after (as mentioned last blog), so if you want to suggest something sooner is better than later!

But for now this song! (Even if it does also have a solo it's not imo a defining feature of it). Let's go with a Australian (and New Zealand) band now in Crowded House, who have a number of neat songs worth checking out. This one is not so well known for whatever reason despite its (imo) nice intro and fairly emotional...
