And back to this again. Yay for on-again-off-again schedule of blog. ~

But first - for the heck of it I think in a few songs time I might try a theme thing. A few entries (or many if I have a lot) where part of the song has a cool guitar solo. So if you know any that you want to share, mention it in a comment! It can be short or long or even the whole song - as long as it sounds good I'll consider it. I won't do every song I know/find out about that has one as that'd be lasting forever...

A stranger song now; the band's certainly a bit weirder than others I've featured before.

And by that, I mean besides being a avant-garde metal band, they created have a fake history about how their songs attracted the ire of the church a few centuries ago, have consistently wacky song titles such as 'Poetic Pitbull Revolutions', 'Exit Strategy of a Wrecking Ball', 'Balrog Boogie' and 'Pink Noise Waltz' (never mind the album names!), and album art like this.

Game music this time around, and not of the Captain Falcon type despite the title. However the game does include punching! I have a heck of a lot to pick from but I heard this recently and so decided it's worth the mention and all.

Yes, another british band but the next entry will end that run. Well, probably, I've not really been good keeping to a plan of 'feature this next' thus far. =p

The band this time is Coldplay, one of my favourite bands (although I am not as fond of some of their newer stuff, but that's another topic). This time around, the song's youtube video gets put in the spoiler tag because I feel like trying something after this song's existence was brought up last month in irc. I was asked to identify the song given only what was thought to be the lyrics of the chorus, which was well off... but I knew enough about the song to know that it's one lots of people aren't sure what is actually sung.
