PokeMoshPit and Americans

I'm subscribed to a channel on YouTube called PokeMoshPit. Sometimes I wonder why I'm even subscribed to it anymore.

Most of the "directors" as they like to call themselves are illiterate Americans or don't have English as their first language. I know many of them narrate Pokemon battles to improve their English but the bad habits they pick up are ridiculous. I won't mention names but you can clearly see it in some of them. I'm fine with some of the "directors"...

Okay, I hate Freeze

So I was training Latias against Pryce just then. He sent in Abomasnow. I decided to start setting Calm Minds since I knew I would be able to sweep his whole team if I had enough.

First Calm Mind...

Second Calm Mind...

Third Calm Mind...
Abomasnow's Blizzard freezes me. Damn, okay I'll just wait the turns out.

PIKACHUUUUUUUUUUUU HATE

I recently started playing Brawl again after over a year without playing it. I'm fine with beating every LV9 CPU except Pikachu. I hate the Thunder spam. It's driving me insane. I still win most of the time but the priority over Sonic Pikachu has is ridiculous and mind ****s me.

I can barely stand this game anymore. Pit is also annoying but not to the extent Pikachu is at.

I also hate the character imbalance in general. Screw you Sakurai.

Two Things I Don't Like About the B/W Metagame

  1. I hoped Game Freak would tone down the level of Stealth Rock in the game. They did by removing its accessibility as a TM but that's hardly enough. The ability to check Pokemon of specific typings is ridiculous and I've felt this way since the start of the 4th generation.
  2. Doryuuzu, in the Sandstorm, with its decent typing and immunity to Thunder Wave and Poison can set up in your face and proceed to sweep your team by out-speed everything and their mums. Nothing can really reliably counter it.

A Sudden Realisation

I've been a member of the PokeCommunity since December 2004. I have hardly been active in the past two years and the reason why it is so finally jumped into my head.
