2012 brings new things to discover as well as uncertainty about the future. It also brings more of that 2012 doomsday BS that has been running rampant the past few years, despite common sense and scientists actually proving that the predicted Mayan doomsday will not happen! But that still doesn't stop idiots like Discovery Channel, History Channel, Patrick Geryl and other morons from continuing to shove their doomsday shows and books down our throats!

Since the world will end in 356 days from now (we are in a leap year, so we have the 29th of February), I've decided to have my own fun with this "phenomenon". Don't worry, I'm not going to talk about how the earth will suddenly reverse its magnetic fields or anything like that. I lack the intelligence to make sense of that stuff.

The reason for this title if I'm not going to talk about 2012? A certain 80's song that critics think is probably the worst song in history.

It seems like the morons at Berry Plastics, the company that laid me and about 130 other people off, are in trouble with the state. I read in my local paper today that those *******s haven't sent in our wage information to the state so our unemployment claims can be finally processed. Some of them got noticed from the unemployment bureau saying their claims are being delayed due to they don't have their wage information, how much they made in 2008. It's the law that the company that lays off...

Anime Boston STILL a possibility...

Posted February 23rd, 2009 at 12:21 AM by Mario The World Champion (The Final Countdown!)

There's one thing about Anime Boston 2009 that works to my advantage: It doesn't happen until late May. May 22-24 to be exact.

My Unemployment benefits will probably kick in early in March, so that will give me plenty of time to save up a nice chunk of money so I can do some devious deeds at Anime Boston, depending on how much I get in benefits each week. I also don't have any bills to pay, which also helps out my cause.

I look at it this way. I'm helping out the...

Killing Time

Posted February 13th, 2009 at 3:01 PM by Mario The World Champion (The Final Countdown!)

I know people have been saying I should buck up and be positive about my whole unemployment deal and I should not worry about it, but how can I when all they talk about in the news is the continuing economic slide. Even as the U.S. Senate is debating over the revised Stimulus package, it'll be a long time before we see ANY improvements. So, I may be unemployed for a long time.

With that said, I got a lot of time on my hands. So, I'm going to unleash my creative beast that has been...

I must be sick... I raced two endurance races in a row!

Posted February 8th, 2009 at 1:03 AM by Mario The World Champion (The Final Countdown!)

Ever since I got laid off and I have nothing to do now, that means I have a lot of free time. My first week out of work consisted of sleeping, watching TV, going to sign up for unemployment, PC, playing Commodore 64, video games and DVDs.

Forza Motorsport 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. It's a racing game for the Xbox 360, one of the 3 games I got when I first got my 360 nearly a year ago. There are a ton of races in there for you to compete in, but the big money makers...

Unemployment, here I am.

Posted February 6th, 2009 at 1:39 AM by Mario The World Champion (The Final Countdown!)

Well, I finally got that whole Unemployment deal taken care of. I was in a group of like 25 other people that were in the same boat as me: Laid off. I did see a few people I worked with at that group.

So, what happened? We all filled out our claims to get unemployment money. That was easy enough. So, they told us to call a number to start the process. Then on Sunday or anything during the week, we have to call another number with the info we got from the last phone call to start...
