2012 brings new things to discover as well as uncertainty about the future. It also brings more of that 2012 doomsday BS that has been running rampant the past few years, despite common sense and scientists actually proving that the predicted Mayan doomsday will not happen! But that still doesn't stop idiots like Discovery Channel, History Channel, Patrick Geryl and other morons from continuing to shove their doomsday shows and books down our throats!
Since the world will end in 356 days from now (we are in a leap year, so we have the 29th of February), I've decided to have my own fun with this "phenomenon". Don't worry, I'm not going to talk about how the earth will suddenly reverse its magnetic fields or anything like that. I lack the intelligence to make sense of that stuff.
The reason for this title if I'm not going to talk about 2012? A certain 80's song that critics think is probably the worst song in history.

I'm having a bad streak right now.
I have hit the 30K word goal, but since then, I have virtually stalled. I don't know why. I haven't felt like doing anything more.
it's kind of depressing. I got this far and now I don't have the inspiriation to contnue. SO, I may be panicking if I don't get back at it.

All I needed was a good weekend of writing. And by golly, I got it.
This past weekend, I reached a word count of 19,229 words. So, I will reach 20k before I go to bed tonight. And with any luck and good ideas, I'll hit 21k or higher to boot!

The first week of NaNoWriMo is coming to an end and right now, I am at 11,855 words.
I have been hitting my daily goal of getting over 1,667 words a night for the duration of the challenge. I still got ideas in my head that I can use and hopefully, I will have a big writing day when I'll do way more than the usual goal.

Day 5 is coming to a close and I have met the writing goal today by reaching 8335 words by 11:59 P.M.
I better get to work if I want to meet the Day 6 goal of 10002 words by the end of that day.
P.S.: Sana, can you give me some of your writing mojo so I can have a word count as high as yours?
