Anyway, so I went to visit my family in Nebraska for a few days. My parents and brothers moved down there a few months back, and my sister and I only just now had the time and finances to visit.

So yesterday at work, for most of the day it was me and one of the other managers, working open to close. It was a very boring and tiring day, to say the least.

Sometime in the afternoon, we have a bit of a line, and the phone rings. I answer it. It's a guy from the Health Department and he asks for a manager. My first reaction is OH CRAP ARE WE IN TROUBLE?? I hand it over to the manager, and she gets over to talking.

The story goes, this "Adam Smith" wanted...

What a lazy week.

I had like a billion things I wanted to do, but I'm having more trouble than usual getting motivated.

The start of the week sucked pretty bad. There was this buzzing noise in our apartment that'd start up late at night. Normally I can take background noise pretty well and just sleep, but this was too loud, and since I didn't know where it was coming from, I'd get too anxious to sleep. In the end, I resorted to music on my iPod, but even then I didn't get restful sleep at all until...

I had my family Chirstmas yesterday!

The Good:
- Seeing everyone! :D It's been a year since I've seen my older stepbrother and his family. (I could've seen him in March, but I worked and couldn't get my shift covered also it was the HG/SS release and I wanted my game *coughs*.)
- Food was pretty good, although mostly fried or sweet.
- Presents! /materialistic I got a mug, an ornament, a crochet blanket, a pair of knitted gloves and matching hat, $20 worth of candy (I kid you not), a candle, a bar of soap, $10 in...

This might be my most lonely Christmas ever.

It occurs to me as the date approaches, that I have no plans for Christmas Day. I don't have family in town anymore. I have a family gathering in Nebraska, but that's not until January. My sister can't afford to come out. No one's sent presents to me minus my grandma, but it's in gift cards -- so I have nothing to unwrap.

It leaves me wondering what I'm going to do for Christmas itself!

I kind of want to get a stocking and stuff it with candy, and try to make something...
