I got some bad news yesterday. :(

My mom called me while I was at work, about to go on break. My grandfather died on Friday. His funeral is on Wednesday, up in Wisconsin.

Right now it's kind of stressful. I really want to attend his funeral, but I have to basically clear out my bank account to do so. My sister insists what I have will get us up there, but I'm afraid that it's still not going to be enough, or that something will go wrong and we won't have enough money to cover it. We're friends, but he's not a person I would ever consider actually dating. He's too weird for my tastes and I can hardly stand living with him as is sometimes. He drank my last Cherry Coke and I will never forgive him.
To be honest, if we could both afford living on our own, we wouldn't be living together in the first place.

Anyway, my mom -- bless her heart -- asked me 54265436543 times before we moved in together, "Are you and your roommate in a relationship??"...

Going on vacation after all!

Despite my jerk co-worker quitting, and a Saturday where they're now expecting 21(!!) busloads of kids along with normal game day rush, I'm still going on vacation~! 8D I feel like I should apologize for freaking out in my last blog about it. It always seems silly when I freak over nothing. XD;

Anyway, going up to Wisconsin to see my family again! :D Don't own a laptop, though, so I'll be gone from sometime tomorrow until next Friday the 17th.

So, for quite a few months now, my bosses have known that in September, I plan to take eight days off to visit family in Wisconsin. It'll be the only opportunity I have this year as I want to work during the Christmas season. Good hours, mostly, and I don't think I'll get approved for the vacation time. Plus I don't want to pay to fly and idk if my sister would want to drive it. But yeah, they're cool about it and planned ahead for it, ect.

So, for those of you who don't know, I live in Kansas. It's in Tornado Alley. Although usually it's just thunderstorms. Also I work in a pizza place in the mall, which is relevant too, I swear. :p

I'm working Friday afternoon. It's about 4:30. I've just gotten off of break, just put a cheese pizza in the oven. We have six of us up front (although one isn't on the clock). Things are moderately busy. The mall is a bit dark due to it being cloudy out, but nothing bad.
