Long story short, getting a new roommate, and we don't get Internet until the outstanding bill is paid. >>;; I don't think it'll be that big of a loss, although I'll still be sad. </3 Modems go out tomorrow, theoretically service will as well.

Hoping that I'll have the money my next paycheck on August 2nd, meaning we won't be without Internet more than a week; barring that, hopefully the 16th by the latest. All depends on when we get money and when Cox comes to reactive cable...

So, last night, the light bulbs in my room burnt out. Had no light bulbs at home. So, I told myself, "On the way home, I'll stop at the local grocery store to pick some up!"

Cue me standing in the grocery store, in the aisle with the light bulbs, realizing that they come in different wattages, and I have no clue what actually works in ceiling lamps. I totally didn't think about looking at the burnt-out bulbs beforehand.

SO EXCITED OMG!!

I seriously have not wanted a Pokemon game in this long since... god knows when, actually. GSC was my favorite generation by far, so having a remake of it is awesome.

I ended up (finally) putting in my pre-order for Heart Gold yesterday. Good news is that the Gamestop will open early -- on Sundays, the stores in the mall open at noon, and I'm at work at 11. They'll open at 10. d("d) I don't think I'll get up at 9 to be there when they first open,...

A story so stupid I have to share.

Yesterday, I was walking in the dark to my sister's place to have some tasty, tasty foods. (Which were indeed tasty.)

As I typically do before walking to my sister's house -- especially after dark -- I sent out a text saying I was on my way. Shortly after I start walking, my sister replies back, asking if I want a ride. They hadn't left the grocery store quite yet, so it wasn't out of their way.

I go onto the grass to avoid hitting any cars, and I start walking and...

2009 was a sucky year in some sense and great in others.

I know it's January 16th, but I want to reminisce anyway. I couldn't on the 1st. :(

The Bad:
+ The year went off to a great start as three weeks in, I ended up dropping out of school. My parents weren't exactly happy when they dropped me off only to drive back down a week later to pick me up with a car full of junk. :( I still don't have the funds to go back to school; I honestly wouldn't be surprised if I don't for a few more years.
+ Living at home was a mixed...
