Computer buying adventures!

So today is the first day my roommate has had off since Monday, so we went into town and decided to finally look at laptops! I figured I'd dither for a bit, maybe comparison shop, and come home with a brand-new laptop. :') Probably should've bought it online but I figured I wanted to do it in a store so I can see with my own eyes what I was getting into before buying it. I'm indecisive as is and if I did it online I would never get around to getting one.

Uh... it was a bit weird....

I'm so nervous about buying one. :( I'm indecisive as is and reading reviews on computers doesn't help at all.

My desktop computer right now is four years old. It's not actually bad, per se, but it's really showing its age. To be honest it was already outdated when it was bought. Some days, just running multiple tabs on Firefox or flash games makes it lag. Also, it sounds like a wind tunnel right now when I run it (yes, I need to pull out the canned air again, but it won't really...

What a lazy week.

I had like a billion things I wanted to do, but I'm having more trouble than usual getting motivated.

The start of the week sucked pretty bad. There was this buzzing noise in our apartment that'd start up late at night. Normally I can take background noise pretty well and just sleep, but this was too loud, and since I didn't know where it was coming from, I'd get too anxious to sleep. In the end, I resorted to music on my iPod, but even then I didn't get restful sleep at all until...

WATCH AS I MAKE A MILLION CHANGES TO A FORUM I NEVER VISIT!

I find this fitting, because back in early 2006 (may have been very late 2005) I was offered Pokemon General but turned it down.

That was also the same time I got New Users/Welcome.

Sometimes it boggles me how long I've been here. And then I remember there are still quite a few people who joined before me and are still active!

I've been here so long, that

when I first joined, there were no name changes
I was so fed up with my old name of nayana_1120 that I made a new account (this one)
the staff implemented name changes for accounts
I had mine changed four times (sammi-san -> Sammi -> Nayana -> Sammi -> Sana)
I got to change names myself
