Instead of "Skitty has a 30% chance to infatuate with it's Cute Charm ability" you could say "It's dangerous to directly attack a skitty because they have the tendency to make other pokemon fall in love with them."
Also, for the record infatuation is not necessarily limited to the opposite gender. PMD rules say gender isn't even a factor, for instance, so it's a bit of a controversy within the series.
There's no way to make game mechanics sound like legitimate research without actually heavily changing the way they're phrased. Real statistics don't sound like roleplaying game ones, and you certainly can /not/ use terms like 'physical vs special' and not get funny looks. It just doesn't make sense outside of a video game, y'know?
It's also kind of immersion breaking, if you don't mind me saying. >=P
Can I say that someone, even if it is her/her mother calculated everything? I mean, someone had to have calculated the rates and stuff...I'd be curious if I lived in the Pokemon World and no one knew how many times pokemon got infatuated by Cute Charm...
I could say that it's very advanced research? o-o; And the reason why she knows all this is because of being connected to the right people? Or she, meaning Hui, figured it all herself? XD
And Hui wrote down everything and Bai read it, which is why Bai and Hei remembers? o-o;
I actually didn't have to research some of the numbers or anything; for some reason, I just remembered it. o-o; I did double-check, it ended up I got the 30% wrong (I thought it was 25%), but I did remember the ratio and Jolteon's speed placement, although I hadn't remembered the exact Pokemon (although I did remember that the three forms of Deoxys and Electrode are faster than Jolteon. Forgot about Ninjask, though, but I knew there was something else...).
Why exactly is Hei insane? o-o;
I am going to wait for Lilizuki to post her character's reaction to Hei's statements.
Peter: You are way out of your league.
Neal: Ah, harmless flirting. It's like a dance.
Peter: Naa, there is no dance. You're not even on her dance card. No dancing for you.
Neal: [Diana, a lesbian FBI agent] digs the hat.
Peter: She'd rather be wearing the hat.
I love White Collar. I actually knew that word for word, although I made sure to check it. xD
