Birdo... is Nintendo trolling us. I'm just going to throw this tidbit your way and let you come to a conclussion on your own. |D I have to imagine the thought process that went through whoever created Birdo's head as they were doing so went something like this.

I know right? I just sort of think of Yoshi as a female subconciously, and ocassionally mock Nintendo for saying otherwise. ;o

Bigger question. Do koopas lay eggs? DB Where do they get their spikes shells? Oh and yes. Who the eff is Bowser's wife?

PFFFT! I know that feeling. A good 3/4 or 4/5th of the characters I've been obsessed with at any given time have been female. |D The only male characters I've become obsessed over and remained obsessed over for a very significant ammount of time are Roy (Fire Emblem) Link (Zelda) and Yoshi (Mario). That being said, I just sort of ignore Nintendo when it says Yoshi is a boy. (Nintendo, Yoshi lays /eggs/! I see you invoking YouFailBiologyForever. Why you do this. >L) So Yoshi arguably doesn't count.

Something about relation, I suppose.
