    Voice chat also murders my ability to multi-task in a back alley with a rusty spoon.

    Don't want to show your face to those said people? I most likely wouldn't.

    No. I've had it for a while, but preferred to use MSN because the entitled questions about video calls made me want to headbutt something. D;

    Of course! Though, students are generally discouraged from going in eachother's dorms. Security is honestly not high though, so it's not that hard to sneak in.

    I've forgotten to ask you one thing about PTD:

    Can all of the students interact with one another, even if the two of them happen to be in different dorm rooms?

    Ah, right.

    Well, I might be able to make a commitment to this RP in due time... IF I can pry myself off of my games long enough to fill out the sign-up form in its entirety.

    I doubt that the student being forced into signing up would cause enough trouble to get expelled, as I'm very sure that his parents would certainly unleash hell upon him, assuming that he'd know that. That's certainly something that'll get him to cooperate with the program.

    Oh, before I forget, how are the students going to know which class they take at the start of each day?

    I guess, but still. If the dude causes trouble he can get expelled. Ultimately he has to cooperate on some level to remain there.

    Dammit, I wasn't expecting that...

    Let's see... how about if the parents of the said potential student winds up being threatened that, if their child doesn't sign up to attend the academy, that the kid will suffer some form of punishment at their parents' hands, physical or otherwise. How does that sound?

    Define "forced". You can easily get expelled from the academy if you try to. There has to be some level of cooperation. However, the parents have plenty of power beyond that.

    Right, well here's a pretty big question:

    Do all of the students in PTA had to willingly sign themselves up for this, or can they be forced to go there against their will by their parents?

    No. The Player-Controlled teachers over NPC teachers thing is just an OOC thing.
