Yeah, same here. A stripped-down, more personal type of show is what I am thinking, but who knows with him? I can't wait to see. I hope you are able to make it out to a show this year since you weren't able to make it last time.
That's the great thing about his shows: it doesn't matter where you are in the venue because every spot is a great spot. The visuals are so large and over-the-top that there really isn't a bad seat in the house.
Aww, that sucks! I went through something similar for two Manson shows. I was going to see him in Albuquerque and Dallas back in '07 but the Albuquerque show was the day before the first day of my senior year and Dallas was on the second day, so I was not able to make either. I was so bummed.
I saw NIN this past August in Dallas and I was front row center against the barricade about two yards away from Trent the entire time. It was the most stunning day of my life. I had to wait outside in the rain for an entire day to get my spot, but it was worth it.
